Face your Fears

The Battersea Arts Centre is doing a festival comprised of work by many artists all exploring the relationship of one performer to one audience member.
Their marketing campaign involves a video which I’m trying very hard not to mention, as well as the tag-line FACE YOUR FEARS – COME AND PLAY. To my mind this is a bit unhelpful… if i wasn’t frightened before, I am now. Etiquette (which I made with Silvia as Rotozaza in 2007) is part of the festival, and we’ve often been at pains to explain that despite appearances it’s not a game, that anyone can do it, that it’s easy, etc. Anyway. There’s a ton of great artists and groups showing – Melanie Wilson, Kings of England, Lundahl & Seitl, Ontroerend Goed, Stan’s Cafe, Coney, Franko B, Tania El Khoury, Quarantine… info here
Also, I figured that now would be the time to launch an idea I’ve had for a while, and that such an alliteration of F’s could serve as a convenient title. Click on the logo for more.
