Bottled up

When we do Etiquette we have a guestbook. This is the best entry so far. 


We’ve been doing this for a long time. Below, from [73 PROJECT], 2000, and DUE, 1999. For an audience, fake tears are a bit like the opposite of canned laughter, playing on our gut reactions to human spasm. But to do it yourself is even stranger. So fake, so clinical – as you unscrew the bottle and squeeze the rubber – and yet the moment you feel them rolling down your face, you know exactly where you are.
