I don’t remember these kind of notes from school. Must be passed back and forth during class? They’re great to read. But strange, how on the one hand they seem a kind of no-tech ‘instant messaging’ spawned from internet use yet forced onto paper, a mix of habit and urgency; and on the other a manifestation of circumstance that has nothing to do with computers or anything, something that could have been around as long as paper and school.
